You know the saying, so much to do and so little time…well, The Finder has nominated November as the month devoted to empowering the inner you. We invite you to take control and find the time to get the job done with perhaps a little help from the experts at hand. For the year is passing at a rate of knots and it seems there’s little or no time to finalise all those plans made with every good intention seemingly only a few short months ago. But you can do it. It may be a sprint to the end of what has been a marathon year, but now is your chance to reach for your goals and be open to learn what others have to share when dealing with the challenges life may present.

So, with 2011 rapidly drawing to a close (who can believe it?) the aim is to be realistic in your planning so you can achieve your objectives. To help you along, the November issue of The Finder includes advice and ideas from specialists in a variety of disciplines ranging from personal wellbeing, health, wealth and finance to self-improvement, beauty, fashion and style. Plus there are travel, dining and entertainment options to keep you informed, inspired and ready for action on and off the social circuit.

Certainly here at The Finder we’re hurtling our way towards the festive season bringing you the biggest 2011 issue yet! Pick at a copy of The Finder HERE and check out 134 pages packed with essential information and inspiring revelations to keep you up-to-date with Lion City life. Be enchanted by the talented witches of Wicked, the musical touted as Broadway’s biggest blockbuster. Meet Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda, The Good Witch who’s very popular but a little spoiled, in their incarnations before Dorothy dropped in. We meet the stars of Wicked and hear about their musical journey. The show opens December 7 at Marina Bay Sands, Grand Theater and is set to be a smash hit with audiences here, as it has been elsewhere across the Globe. New to Singapore or interested in being updated on office etiquette? Then meet three Human Resource professionals who highlight some of the cultural norms and the no-nonsense approach of the Asian workplace. In Going Places we uncover a sizzling Seminyak stay at The Colony Hotel Bali, where you can experience old time elegance in a delightfully luxurious setting at affordable prices, and explore the royal retreats of Regal India with travel correspondent Sharmila Melissa Yogalingam.
The Finder is all about convenience and making life easier. We’re here to help you take control and get the job done with informative and inspiring business and service options available islandwide. Johnvgordon

Profile

John Gordon is Managing Editor of The Finder and has lived in Singapore since 2008. Being an Aussie, there's no wonder John is a fan of the great outdoor. Swimming, tennis , the odd jog along East Coast keeps him fit for a full-on day of active duty. Having a interest in music since a young age, John studied classical and jazz piano as a lad in Melbourne back in the 70s and went on to try his hand as an 80s male model and piano bar singer. Thankfully... he found his feet and took on academic challenges in the 90s and attended The Victorian College of the Arts, Adelaide College of Performing Arts and Sydney Universitiy leading him to a career in Advertising and Publishing.

Travel, wine & dine, entertainment, both live music and theatre are all on John's TO DO list.  If you have a great find or something to share don't keep it to yourself!
